Does OBDeleven 3 support my vehicle?

The OBDeleven 3 device works with all car brands via the CAN-Bus protocol. OBDeleven 3 isofficially licensed by the Volkswagen Group (VAG), the BMW Group, the Toyota Group, and the Ford Group ( for models manufactured in the U.S.only) . As a result, it offers expanded functionality for these models. Click here to check brand and model compatibility.

Do I need a subscription?

The PRO and ULTIMATE plans are designed for users who want to go beyond basic diagnostics and have more control over their vehicles.

By purchasing the PRO plan, you can perform manual coding for VAG Group vehicles, but additional fees may apply. Customers who purchase the ULTIMATE plan can enjoy all the app’s features for free and without any limits.

Fault diagnosis and live data are available with the FREE plan included with the OBDeleven 3 or OBDeleven 2 (NextGen) device.

Can I use OBDeleven with more than one vehicle?

Yes! Currently, there is no limit to the number of vehicles you can connect to your OBDeleven account and use with your device.

What Is an SFD Lock?
Vehicle Diagnostic Protection (also known as SFD – Schutz Fahrzeug Diagnose) is an additional security layer that requires authentication between the vehicle and the manufacturer.
 
Volkswagen AG was introduced by Volkswagen AG to protect vehicle owners from fraud by providing information showing who made changes to their vehicles and when. SFD restricts functions such as modifications, coding, and parameterization.
 
This warranty applies to models produced on the MQB Evo (e.g., VW Golf 8, Škoda Octavia IV, Seat Leon IV, Audi A3 8Y, Q4) and MEB (e.g., VW ID.3, ID.4, Škoda Enyaq) platforms starting in 2020.
 
The control units protected by SFD include Engine Electronics, Central Electrical System, Instrument Panel, Gateway Electronics, Multimedia Unit, and more.
 
About OBDeleven's SFD unlock feature
 
To make using SFD protection easier—or, in other words, to make SFD protection virtually invisible—we’ve created an SFD auto-unlock feature. When the SFD auto-unlock feature is enabled, if you attempt to perform long coding, modify settings, or use One-Click Applications on a locked control unit, the OBDeleven VAG app will automatically request the SFD token from Volkswagen servers, unlock the control unit, and apply the changes you requested. 
What Are One-Click Apps?
One-Click Apps are our pre-programmed options designed to let you adjust, enable, or disable your vehicle’s safety, comfort, and driving features with a single click. No manual programming is required. 
 
You can enable One-Tap Apps as follows:– Our in-app currency . If you have the ULTIMATE plan, you can access One-Click Apps for free with virtually unlimited access, so no credits are required.
 
One-Click Apps are currently available for vehicles from the Volkswagen Group, BMW Group, Toyota Group, and Ford Group (models manufactured in the U.S. only). Different options are available depending on your vehicle's equipment.
